Ethos Team

Hello everyone and welcome to our school website Ethos Team page.

We are all settled back in school after our summer holiday and are all settling into our new class 'bubbles'. Our new children in reception are all settling well and seem to be enjoying themselves.  We are sure they will enjoy our school as much as we do. We have also had lots of children who left for High School we hope they are settling in well to their new school and routines.

In July we said goodbye and good luck to Mrs Robinson. She worked at St Thomas's for over thirty years first as a nursery nurse and then as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We all miss her but wish her every happiness in her retirement.

Earlier this month we had a non uniform day with donations of chocolates, toiletries etc for Ashton View Care Home. The donations will be used to make advent calendars for the residents as part of their Christmas celebrations. A big thank you to all the carers who work there looking after them.

Just before we finished for half term we held our harvest celebrations. They were very different this year as we were unable to celebrate in church but we celebrated with 'bubble' worships led by Nic the hub schools worker. As usual our school families donated lots of food for the local food bank. Thank you everyone. After the harvest celebrations we said goodbye to Nic and wished her good luck as she starts her new position in Rochdale.

We will keep you updated with more school news via the website and parish magazine.

Take care

Love the Ethos Team
