Statement of intent for Art

  • At Saint Thomas’s we value Art and Design as an important part of our children’s entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum. Art and Design provides the children with the opportunities to develop and extend skills and also as an opportunity to express and develop their own individual interests, thoughts and ideas. Art, Craft and Design embody some of the highest forms of human creativity. A high quality Art and Design education should inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. They should also know how art and design both shape and reflect our history, and help contribute to the culture, creativity and wealth of  our nation.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      11 UNIQUE IDEAS FOR KIDS' ART PROJECTS - YouTube         1000+ Great Hands Photos Pexels · Free Stock Photos            Encouraging Self-Expression Through Art |… | PBS KIDS for Parents                         List of Free Images No Copyright Websites - Blackandise40 of the Best Kindergarten Art Projects for Your Classroom
